New Delhi: 'Anonymous' an online hacktivist group, has declared December 11 as ISIS 'Trolling Day', giving people the opportunity to join the cyber war against the militant group.
'Anonymous' is a loosely associated international network of activists. It is an internet gathering of decentralized command structure and operates on ideas. The group is currently more active on the social media and work against the propaganda of the Islamic State.
According to the media reports, after the deadly Paris attacks, 'Anonymous' declared a cyber war on ISIS under the banner of #OpParis.
The online activist group has urged people to post mocking pictures of ISIS members to dislocate the online communication and propaganda of the group.
The hacktivist group claims that this can work against the 'fear' that the Islamic State group uses to spread hatred.

'Anonymous', that has a growing base of online supporters, also posted a list of recommendations for taking part in the trolling day. Recommendations include mocking the images of ISIS's dead members on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
The group's current strategy includes searching for ISIS-supporting accounts and get them deactivated from the social media platform.
Several reports claim that the online activist group will also hold a meeting in real life. The locations of meetings include New York, London and Paris.
The meetings will delve into suggestions on making stickers and photos mocking ISIS militants, which will then be put across publicly. Posters depicting how ISIS does not represent or reflect Islam will also be printed and put out.
