New Delhi: Superstar Aamir Khan’s next film ‘Dangal’ has been in the news for quite some time now. The actor who is regarded as the Mr. Perfectionist of India has been working extensively to portray the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
Set to release in December next year, the actor took to Twitter to announce that the movie will start shooting.
Mahavir Singh Phogat is the father of two famous women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat. He made it his life goal to train his daughters and make them champion wrestlers. The story traces his life on how he broke the stereotypes of society to give his daughters the life they deserved.
The story caught Aamir Khan’s fancy and he agreed to work in the movie to make Phogat’s struggles known to many. He revealed this first look of ‘Dangal’ on his Twitter account.

From the look of the poster, the movie is surely going to be an intense one. Aamir Khan looks fierce in it and his expression will remind you of his character in ‘Ghajini’: one who was hell bent to seek revenge for his girlfriend’s death.
Though this movie is nowhere close to it, we hope it is going to be another blockbuster for the actor. The film is co-produced by Disney, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and also features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Rajkummar Rao.
